Night Light
Is it silly to leave a night light on for my puppy?
i adopted a pit bull puppy about a month and a half ago. he was found wondering the streets of ohio, emmaciated and with demadix (a type of mange). at night i keep him in his kennel until he is house trained. i think of him as a baby and leave the kitchen stove light on dim for him. is this a silly idea, or do u think not being in total darkness is comforting for him?
You should know that their are certain things in the answers above that are true. Like the seeing in the dark is better than ours, but not as good as a cats, etc.
The thing that I think you should concentrate on more with this puppy is what you feel makes it comfortable. Their are always you answers of the general, but their are those certain circumstances that may make this puppy different from another. Does he seem calmer, more relaxed? Does he seem to get enough sleep? If so, than who cares what anyone else thinks!! This puppy has gone through alot in only the short liffe it has had thus far. Whatever makes it comfortable is the right thing to do!
