HELP...I can't open any documents after downloading Microsoft Office 2007 Home and Student to our computer!
I recently downloaded Microsoft Office 2007 Home and Student to my son's desktop computer. He uses Microsoft XL and has Mozilla Firefox for a browser.
I cannot open any Text Documents that were created before Office 2007 was downloaded, nor can I open any Word or Excel Documents that were created since adding the new software to this computer.
I downloaded the same software to my Microsoft XL laptop, which uses Microsoft Internet Explorer, and things work fine.
The notice that pops up on my son's computer is "The file Summer Camps.rtf is not available" or "The file Summer Camps.docx is not available"
What am I doing wrong?
Is there a way I can uninstall Office 2007 from my son's computer?
Of course, you can uninstall anything in your computer. Just go to Control Panel, Install/uninstall programs and select it there to uninstall.
