Do you have a Leapster Didj?

My son loves playing with his and I like it because it's geared to learning BUT the darn thing goes thru batteries (the regular leapster doesn't go thru batteries like the Didj does). I have just recently bought the adapter for the Digi. Now I'm having problems with the 'tune-up'-- It seems like every couple days I have to connect it to the computer. Does anyone know why I have to connect it to the computer so much?
A few years ago I bought a leapster so now my younger son plays that one and instead of buying a DS I bought a Didj for the older one.. But at this point I like the leapster soo much better.

Yeeeah, I think a nintendo is better. My son has the leapster thing and it goes through batteries too. I think it is a rip off. I would take it back to the store or call the company.
