How do you view registering for a baby shower?
A former co-worker that I never hear from called me up the other day, asking for my address so she could send me a baby shower invite. When I received it in the mail, it stated where she was registered. I can't help but feel that it's a tad rude-I don't ever hear from her, #1 and #2, it's feels like a demand. What should I do?
There's nothing wrong with registering for a baby shower. What I find odd is that she's throwing herself a shower. If you don't feel close enough to go, you're certainly not obligated to attend or send a gift. Just send your regrets and if you like, send her a card of congratulations when the baby arrives.
